Catherine (Cathy) Nelson is an osteopathic family medicine physician in Beaver Dam, WI. She completed her training at Columbia St Mary’s hospital in Milwaukee, WI. After a short time practicing in East Chicago, IN she returned to Wisconsin. She has been in practice for 7 years with SSM Dean Medical Group. She is the immediate past president for WAOPS and also serves as a board member and physician volunteer for her local free and charitable clinic, Church Health Services. She enjoys providing comprehensive, team based care in a rural setting. Some of her favorite procedures are osteopathic manipulative treatment and joint injections. 

In her free time, she loves to travel solo or with friends, both domestically and internationally. She also finds joy volunteering with her local Second Harvest Mobile Food Pantry and participating in a local book club.
