Dodson Thompson, D.O.I was raised in North Carolina and received a B.A. in Geography from East Carolina University in 1991. I joined the Peace Corps in 1992 and served as a community development advisor in rural Costa Rica until 1995. I taught high school science from 1996-2000 in Mississippi and Iowa and during that time, earned a M.A. in Secondary Education from the University of Mississippi. I attended Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine from 2000-2004. I completed a family medicine residency at the Center for Family Medicine in Sioux Falls, SD from 2004-2007. I have been practicing at Northlakes Community Clinic a FQHC in Hayward, WI since 2008. I have two children- a 16 year old son and a 14 year old daughter. I am an avid gardener, rock climber and hiker. |
